Private Events

Third Degree's facilities are available for private parties and receptions. We have over 7000 ft² of open space available for private events. Treat your guests to a demonstration or have them make their own paperweights. Beverage service is provided by Third Degree for all events. We are happy to accommodate the caterer of your choice, but ask us about our favorites! Please download the event information packet below.

The Hot Shop Gallery

The Hot Shop Gallery is a 4000 ft² room containing the glass furnaces. An open room with stretching glass walls and beautiful glass displays sits behind the glassblowing area. Several glass related activities are available as entertainment for you and your guests. See below for details
Rental rates for the Hot Shop Gallery start at $500.00 for events up to 4 hours.

The East Gallery

The East Gallery is an additional 3700 ft² gallery adjacent to the Hot Shop Gallery. The East Gallery's natural light and brick walls provide a great atmosphere for receptions and parties. The East Gallery rental is sometimes only available in conjunction with Hot Shop Gallery rental. Please read the Event Information for further details.
Rental rates for the Hot Shop and East Gallery start at $800.00 for events lasting up to four hours.

Demonstrations

Watch the artists create objects out of molten glass by scheduling a demonstration to coincide with your event. The glass making process always fascinates guests and demonstrations provide an inexpensive form of entertainment for every attendee.
Pricing starts at $75/hr.

Paperweights

You and your guests can make your own artistic glass paperweights under the direction of a Third Degree instructor. Not only it is a great time, but the result is a hand-made keepsake that will remind your guest of the fun they had for years to come. (Max. 20 guests/hour).

Pricing starts at $25.00/paperweight.
