      "Highlighting the art of glass is a great way to entertain, as well as add some local color to St. Louis culture. I like selling people on this idea,” says Cody Meirick, Special Events Manager.

      ”In my job at Third Degree I’m involved with a little bit of everything - from answering phones to scheduling events to organizing the class roster - but the events are the centerpiece.  They allow me to serve local companies, organizations, and individuals by providing a great venue for their get-togethers,” he explains.

       Meirick is currently a graduate student of English Literature at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He says he loves art in general and admits to being a “book nerd” at heart.  “Furthering the arts in any form has always and will always be the focus of my career.”

      "What I love most about being here is that it allows me to be around art and sell people on the experience of art. Human expression, whether it be through glass, jewelry, or words, is something I believe in,“ Meirick says.  “Third Degree is an art studio and gallery that appreciates the artist.  I'm happy to be a part of an operation that successfully furthers artistic expression in the city of St. Louis. It's a thrill.”
